The Asset Project (TAP), under the supervision of Assistant Dean Devzon U. Porras, CPA, MSA, continues to fulfill its mission of providing academic support to students of the College of Accounting Education (CAE) through a series of review sessions conducted on October 2, 5, and 6, 2026, with another session scheduled on October 13. The initiative kicked off on October 2 with a review session on Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions (RFBT) facilitated by Atty. Thessaloe May Fernandez, CPA. The session focused on obligations and contracts, providing students with an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of fundamental concepts in the subject. On October 5, the review sessions continued with Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting (AFAR), led by Ms. Agena Marie San Pablo, CPA. The discussion covered key areas including partnership accounting and business combinations. On the same evening, Mr. Paul Jason Yu, CPA facilitated the Management Services (MS) review, highlighting Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) analysis as one of the main topics. The series continued on October 6 with a Taxation review session facilitated by Atty. Ralph Renzo Naquila, CPA, further providing students with focused academic support in one of the core areas of accountancy. The initiative will continue on October 13, with Mr. Mark Glenn G. Parpan, CPA, MBA facilitating the Auditing review session. The session aims to further strengthen students' understanding of essential auditing concepts and principles as they prepare for their academic assessments and professional journey. More than a series of review sessions, TAP serves as an avenue for CAE students to deepen their competencies, reinforce classroom learning, and prepare themselves for the challenges of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination and the accounting profession. Through TAP, the College of Accounting Education continues to promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and academic excellence. The initiative also supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), which advocates inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. ✍🏻 Liberty Mae PacaΓ±a πŸ“Έ Photos Courtesy: The Asset Project (TAP) and Candice Mae Garcia via Google Meeting πŸ’» Irah Alexa Omboy
