The College of Accounting Education (CAE) conducted its Accounting Mastery Sessions on March 7, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, providing additional academic support to students enrolled in selected accounting courses. The activity gathered students from several ACC classes for guided discussions and problem-solving exercises aimed at strengthening their understanding of key accounting concepts. The sessions were facilitated by CAE faculty members and alumni and were held simultaneously in different classrooms. ACC 111 under Mr. Niel Banares, CPA was conducted in BE 308, ACC 124 under Mr. Jasper Enumerables, CPA in BE 315, ACC 211 under Mr. Paul Yu, CPA in BE 309, and ACC 221 under Mr. Marlon Jabla, CPA in BE 310. Through these sessions, students were given the opportunity to review important topics and work through challenging accounting problems with guidance from experienced facilitators. Throughout the session, facilitators led discussions, explained key concepts, and provided sample exercises designed to reinforce studentsโ understanding of their lessons. The activity allowed participants to clarify difficult topics while strengthening their analytical and problem-solving abilities in preparation for upcoming assessments. Beyond examination preparation, the Accounting Mastery Sessions also helped students develop critical thinking, time management, and practical application skills essential for future accounting professionals. Through interactive learning and guided review, participants were able to build confidence in handling complex accounting concepts. This initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goal on Quality Education (SDG 4) by promoting accessible, equitable, and high-quality learning opportunities for aspiring accounting professionals.
